This course explores the role of health coaching in modern integrative healthcare, with a focus on enhancing preventive and personalised care. Learners will examine real-world applications within the NHS and community settings, hear about evidence-based approaches and practical coaching techniques that can be implemented in clinical and community settings. Gain an overview of coaching approaches and growing a coaching mindset. The course is based around an online conference organised by the National Centre for Integrative Medicine (NCIM) in February 2026. It provides a comprehensive learner journey including: Real-world NHS case studies, including applications in primary care, cancer support, and social prescribing Practical tools and strategies for implementing coaching in healthcare settings A recommended reading list including PDFs to download of seminal papers Reflect prompts for each section to help you explore health coaching and develop your practice or work area To gain a Quality Marked CPD Certificate from the National Centre for Integrative Medicine you are required to pass a twenty-question multiple choice assessment.
